You pay no costs, no taxes. You get a legal document and the keys and the prize is yours, fully furnished and ready to enjoy.

It's not like all those house raffles where the winner is responsible for huge taxes.

The prizes are valuable and saleable, gloriously located, and designed by Pedro Otzoup, one of Spain's most renowned architects.

The houses and studios are sophisticated and stylish, with handmade beds with goosedown pillows and Ralph Lauren's best sheets, DVD players, fully equipped kitchens, and private South-facing terraces looking down the valley to the sea.

The prizes share three acres of gardens with palms and fruit trees, and there's an outdoor pool and bar. There's a sauna and exercise room, assigned parking spaces, optional laundry and maid service.

You can rent out your prize for income of up to 30,000 euros (£26,000 or $42,000) per season, with many weeks still open for personal use.

The large properties can bring in more than 1,000 euros (£865 or $1,400) per week during the seven-month season.

And it doesn't make any difference where you live in the world, a euro-based rental property is a valuable asset to have. We might even manage the rentals for you.

The smaller properties can bring in half or more of the sums we've mentioned above.

And of course you can lend your prize to family and friends as well as using it yourself.

Maintenance is easily covered by a few weeks' rent and local taxes are low.
